How do you deal with a family member who is self-absorbed and exaggerates when things go wrong?

How do you keep from loosing your temper and becoming more frustrated than you should.

If you have a family member, who makes a situation that went wrong seem like a bigger loss to them– when they aren’t loosing anything. Assume that things are not done right because they are not there to do it right. Or blame you even if you are not at fault.

If you can relate to this and it happens often, I would like to know how do you deal with it?

Don’t even entertain there exaggerations. Just pretend as though life is dandy and fine, ignore them. You can’t let it get to you, you have to very patient, because most likely the person just doing it for attention and the second you get mad you’re feeding the attention appetite.

Just chill out, be mellow, they might catch on.
