The family I work for (as a live-in nanny) as this adorable golden retriever. She was trained as a hunting dog and is very well behaved. I’m not sure her age. Anyway, I have an approx. 1 year old Bengal cat. I know she likes dogs, because her foster mother said, AND all the dogs we’ve seen while walking, she’s been fine with, and even tried to run over to a chihuahua that looked ready to bite her, trying to play with it. But Sybil doesn’t like the family dog.

How can I help them to get along?

The movie takes place in New York city. It is animated, and most likely came out in the 90’s. I vaguely remember it being about a bunch of dogs in the streets, and one of them being chiwawa named Tito. It is a family movie, and again, animated. Just wondering if it rang any bells to anyone.

So many times we hear of dogs getting hurt by the neglect of neighbors or whoever. We adopt our loved ones into our families. Why are they not considered family members as adopted humans are considered? Why are they not allowed to get compensation from those who cause them pain?
