Ok this my husbands parents invited us to their house for the Thanksgiving this sunday, and we said yeah sure. And then the day after my mom invited us to their house too but she knew we are going to his parents, she said come over to us after them. And so now I dont know what to do, and I do wanna go to my parents house too. So what should I do, shoud we just go to ma parents after his. I am confused??? and like its fine with me since his parents invited us first, I just dont know how to tell my husband cuz he is probably not gonna wana leave, tell me what are your experiences, please, has it ever happened to you? well i dont know how is he gonna react, but i just need an advice?? it our first thanksgiving married. and before we used to go his parents.

My husband and I live very far from any family and every year we spend Thanksgiving and Christmas with just our small children. As this is nice and special, we both wish to make this year and possibly the the future years memorable ones and do something meaningful.

Since our kids are small, we know that this will pose a roadblock to certain things.

But we wish to start volunteering our Thanksgiving and/or Christmas Eve nights to a shelter, hospice or nursing home.

Anyways, any other suggestions?
